Do you accept insurance and what are the fees I can anticipate?

FAQ’s

We currently accept Cigna, Optum, and United Health Care and out of network services.

What is out of network (OON)?

What this means is that you pay for the services up front and each month, you will receive a reimbursement from your insurance provider, which is based upon their reimbursement rate. The process is simple: you call your insurance plan and Ask your provider, "what is your reimbursement rate for out of network procedure code 90834?". If you are looking for couples counseling ask them, "what is your reimbursement rate for out of network procedure code 90847?". Some plans, typically HMO plans, won't fund out-of-network care.

We are happy to provide you with receipts that include all the detailed codes required by insurers. Psychotherapy is also typically covered by pre-tax Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) or Health Spending Accounts (HSAs).

Our private pay fee is $195 per 55-minute session. At this time, we are ONLY conducting tele-health sessions (using Zoom Health as our video Platform).

Our private pay rates are:

Intake Session - generally 50 minutes (CPT Code 90791) $210 for independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) and $135 for dependently licensed therapist (MHC, LMSW, MFT).

Individual Psychotherapy, 53 - 60-minute session (CPT Code 90837) $195 for independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) and $125 for dependently licensed therapist (MHC, LMSW, MFT).

Due to insurance billing code and their definitions, family therapy and couples counseling/marital therapy may or may not be covered by insurance. The self-pay rates are: $225 for independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) and $125 for dependently licensed therapist (MHC, LMSW, MFT).
